EXY Terms of Use

These terms govern your EXY account and use of the service.

Effective 20 July 2026. Version 2026-07-20.

App licence. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement governs the licence to the iOS app. These terms supplement that agreement for the EXY service.

1. Provider and agreement

EXY is provided by David Shelley, trading as Halo AI Services, at 2 Brighton Terrace, Douglas, IM1 4AP, Isle of Man. By creating an account, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. Special-category matching requires separate explicit consent.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter this agreement, and permitted to use a dating service under the laws that apply to you. You must not use EXY if your account has been removed for serious safety or integrity violations unless EXY gives written permission.

3. Your account

4. Introductions and availability

EXY uses reciprocal requirements and private availability to offer a finite set of introductions. An introduction, acceptance, mutual time, match, or message does not guarantee compatibility, identity, conduct, safety, a meeting, or any particular outcome. Use your own judgement and follow the Safety Centre.

5. Conduct and content

You must follow the Community Standards. In particular, do not harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, defraud, discriminate unlawfully, expose private information, sexualise minors, promote illegal activity, or send spam.

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give EXY a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, copy, adapt for technical display, and show that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, moderate, and improve the service. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for restricted copies lawfully retained for safety, legal, backup, or dispute purposes under the periods described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Reports, blocks, and enforcement

You can report or block another member in the app. EXY may investigate, limit visibility, preserve relevant evidence, warn, suspend, or remove accounts and content where reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect members, or comply with law. We may be unable to disclose another person's outcome or confidential safety information.

To ask for a review of an enforcement decision, email support@haloaiservices.com with the account email and relevant context.

7. Service availability and changes

We aim to operate EXY with reasonable skill and care, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or a particular number of introductions. Features may change for security, legal, technical, or product reasons. We will give appropriate notice where a change materially affects your rights.

8. Purchases

If EXY later offers an in-app purchase or subscription, the price, renewal terms, and included benefit will be shown before purchase. Apple processes App Store billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds under Apple's applicable terms. Payment will never buy a higher position in EXY's matching order.

9. Closing or deleting an account

You may stop using EXY at any time. To permanently delete your account, use the in-app path described on the Delete Your Account page. Deleting the app from a device does not delete the account.

10. Responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, EXY is not responsible for another member's independent conduct or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when this agreement was made.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Isle of Man law, without removing mandatory consumer protections or court rights that apply where you live.

12. Changes and contact

Material changes will be published with a new effective date and, where appropriate, presented in the app before they apply. Questions or formal notices may be sent to support@haloaiservices.com or the postal address in section 1.
